Monday 9th October 2016

Prince Harry will present the Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Gold Awards at the Imperial War Museum on Monday 9th October.

Prince Harry will present the Awards alongside the Secretary of State for Defence to organisations from across the UK who have supported members of the Armed Forces and their families by offering training, work placements and employment. Following the ceremony, Prince Harry will meet some of the individuals who have been supported by these organisations.

The Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) was launched in 2014 to recognise employer support for the Defence and Armed Forces community. The Scheme encompasses bronze, silver and gold awards for employers that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support, and covers the Reserves, Service leavers, Armed Forces veterans, the wounded, injured and sick, Cadets, military spouses or partners and their families.

To date 47 organisations have been given the ERS Gold Award, and a further 33 will receive the award at this event.
