PRINCE HARRY WILL ATTEND 100 WOMEN IN
FINANCE GALA DINNER IN AID OF WELLCHILD
Victoria and Albert Museum, London
Wednesday 11th October, 2017
Prince Harry, Patron of 100 Women in Finance’s Philanthropic Initiatives, will attend a reception and gala dinner in aid of WellChild at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) on Wednesday 11th October. HRH will meet a number of guests, including parents of a young person helped by WellChild, at the reception, before attending a dinner at which he will make a short speech.
100 Women in Finance (100WF) is a leading non-profit organisation for professionals in the alternative investments industry. 100 WF’s Board of Directors selects a charitable organisation for its philanthropic initiative from women’s and family health, mentoring and education programmes. Net proceeds from this year’s Gala Dinner will be given to WellChild, of which The Prince is Patron.
WellChild is the national charity for seriously ill children and their families. Thousands of children and young people are living across the UK with serious or exceptional health needs. Many spend months, even years in hospital simply because there is no support enabling them to leave.
Through a nationwide network of children’s nurses, home and garden projects and family support services, WellChild helps get children and young people home from hospital quicker, supporting and empowering families to care for them safely at home. WellChild aims to give these children the best chance to thrive: safe at home, together with their families.
