THE DUKE OF ROTHESAY (PRINCE WILLIAM) WILL VISIT SCOTLAND

The Duke of Rothesay will visit Angus to spotlight community led organisations that are helping to tackle rural isolation and loneliness. His Royal Highness will see firsthand how these organisations are bringing together different community groups to improve their wellbeing, learn new skills and build friendships.

Engagement 1:

The Duke of Rothesay will visit East Scryne Farm, Carnoustie.

On arrival in Scotland, the Duke will first attend a roundtable hosted by the Farm Safety Foundation (Yellow Wellies), a charity working throughout the UK to address the attitudes and behaviours to farm safety and poor mental health in the next generation of farmers.

Engagement 2:

The Duke of Rothesay will visit Carnoustie and Monifieth Men’s Shed, Carnoustie.

Following the roundtable, the Duke will visit a Men’s Shed in Carnoustie to hear how the organisation is helping men and women build a sense of community and learn new skills.
