THE KING WILL HOST A HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL AND EDUCATION EVENT AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE

Monday 13th January 2025

The King will host three organisations dedicated to educating future generations about the Holocaust for an event to mark Holocaust Memorial Day (27th January 2025) at Buckingham Palace.

The organisations will showcase creative initiatives being developed in the UK to ensure the experiences of Holocaust survivors are passed on in years to come.

On arrival in the Bow Room, the King will meet Manfred Goldberg, aged 94, who survived concentration camps, including Stutthof, and a death march. His Majesty will then witness three UK initiatives designed to educate future generations, accompanied by Manfred, who is among the survivors to share their experiences to ensure the memory of the Holocaust lives on.
