Her Majesty to Visit RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Monday 20th May 2019

Her Majesty The Queen, accompanied by other Members of the Royal Family, will attend the RHS Chelsea Flower Show at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

On arrival, The Queen will be greeted by the President of the Royal Horticultural Society, Sir Nicholas Bacon. Her Majesty will tour the gardens and see displays, including:

The RHS Back to Nature Garden, co-designed by The Duchess of Cambridge and encouraging all generations to connect with nature;

The Greenfingers Charity garden, a fun, interactive and uplifting space where seriously ill children, their families and friends can come together for play, relaxation or quiet reflection;

The RHS Bridgewater garden, heralding the creation of the RHS’s new garden in Salford, in which they will bring back to life the historic gardens of Worsley New Hall;

National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies, celebrating their 60th anniversary with displays on the theme of friendship.
