
THEIR MAJESTIES THE KING AND QUEEN WILL VISIT THE CHANNEL ISLANDS

Monday 15th July: Jersey
Engagement 1:
Their Majesties The King and Queen will visit Royal Square for a Special Sitting of the States Assembly and Sitting of the Royal Court.
Engagement 2:
Their Majesties will attend the Jersey Expo Event at Weighbridge Place.
Engagement 3:
The King and Queen will view the presentation of The King’s Colour outside Pomme d’Or Hotel.
Engagement 4:
Their Majesties will attend The King’s Parade and afterwards join a tea party, where they will meet guests from a broad cross-section of the island’s community. This will include representatives from arts and culture organisations, emergency services, veterans, voluntary sector and royal patronages.
Tuesday 16th July: Guernsey
Engagement 1:
The King and Queen will attend a Special Sitting of the States of Deliberation, Guernsey’s Parliament, taking place on the St Peter Port seafront.
Engagement 2:
Their Majesties will unveil a plaque to mark their visit before touring a showcase of Guernsey culture, heritage, produce and environmental initiatives on Crown Pier. Their Majesties will go on to join a tea party.
Engagement 3:
His Majesty The King will meet with representatives from Guernsey Finance at Government House.
Engagement 4:
Her Majesty The Queen will tour Hauteville House, where Victor Hugo lived during his exile in Guernsey.
Engagement 5:
The King and Queen will visit Les Cotils, where His Majesty, Patron of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, will see some rare Golden Guernsey Goats before meeting delegations from Alderney and Sark who will showcase aspects of each Island’s community, culture, history and environmental projects.
