THE PRINCE OF WALES TO VISIT ENGLAND MEN’S FOOTBALL TEAM AT ST. GEORGE’S PARK AHEAD OF EURO 2024

The Prince of Wales, President of The FA, will visit St. George’s Park on Monday 10th June to wish the England Men’s team luck ahead of the UEFA EURO 2024 tournament, which starts on Friday.

Upon arrival, the Prince will hear from Gareth Southgate, England Head Coach, about how the team is getting ready for the tournament. His Royal Highness will then meet the team, before presenting shirts to each of the 26 players selected for the England squad.

To further mark the team’s send off, schools from across the Midlands have also been invited to St George’s Park to attend a festival of football during which schoolchildren will play friendly fixtures against each other.

The Prince, accompanied by Gareth, will drop into the tournament to watch play and meet some of those taking part.

The UEFA EURO 2024 tournament is taking place in Germany between Friday 14th June – Sunday 14th July.
