THE DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE WILL ATTEND THE MANCHESTER ARENA NATIONAL SERVICE OF COMMEMORATION

The Duke of Cambridge will attend The Manchester Arena National Service of Commemoration at Manchester Cathedral on Tuesday 22nd May. The service will mark one year since the attack on Manchester Arena.

The multi-faith service will remember those who lost their lives in the tragedy and be attended by the bereaved and survivors. It will also give thanks to emergency workers who assisted on the ground and in the aftermath of the attack.

The hour-long service will include a nationwide one-minute silence at 14.30hrs. Afterwards, The Duke will meet some of the bereaved families privately.

The service will be broadcast live on BBC1.
