His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London on April 3rd, for planned surgery on his hip which took place April 4th.
Following a successful hip replacement operation, His Royal Highness remained in hospital for several days and was discharged on the April13th.
The Duke will continue his recovery at Windsor.
