Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have selected Alexi Lubomirski to be the official photographer at their Wedding on Saturday 19th May. Mr. Lubomirski will take the official photographs at Windsor Castle following the Wedding at St George’s Chapel.
Alexi Lubomirski is a well-known portrait photographer, and photographed Prince Harry and Ms. Markle last year at Frogmore House, Windsor, to mark the news of their engagement.
Mr. Lubomirski said: “I could not be more thrilled or honoured to photograph this historic occasion. Having taken Prince Harry and Ms. Markle’s engagement photos, it brings me such joy to be able to witness again, the next chapter in this wonderful love story.”
Mr. Lubomirski is a renowned portrait and fashion photographer, regularly working with leading global public figures and international publications. He has also published two photography books, donating all proceeds to the charity Concern Worldwide, which he supports as an Ambassador.
Alexi was born in England, but moved to Botswana with his mother and stepfather at the age of eight. It was his stepfather who gave him his first camera at the age of 11. Alexi’s interest in photography developed whilst traveling in Peru during a year abroad at college, which later shifted from an interest in social commentary to narrative-based fashion photography whilst studying for his degree at the University of Brighton. Mr. Lubomirski now lives in New York with his wife and two sons.
