THE DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE TO DELIVER KEYNOTE SPEECH AT CHARITY COMMISSION ANNUAL PUBLIC MEETING

London

Tuesday 23rd January, 2018

The Duke of Cambridge will deliver the keynote speech at the Charity Commission Annual Public Meeting (APM) at the Royal Institution on Tuesday 23rd January.

The Charity Commission is the registrar and regulator of charities in England and Wales with a mission to promote public trust and confidence in charities, encouraging charitable giving in all of its forms.

The Charity Commission’s APM is an opportunity for the Commission to engage with charities in England and Wales, the public, key stakeholders and the wider sector – to celebrate charitable giving, address key issues and provide a highlight of its work over the course of the year. The annual meeting is an important part of the Commission’s commitment to public accountability and transparency.

Delegates include representatives from charities, umbrella bodies and supporting organisations, government, agencies and policy decision-makers.

The Duke will also meet charity representatives after delivering the keynote speech.
