HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN WILL ATTEND THE 75TH BADMINTON HORSE TRIALS, BADMINTON, GLOUCESTERSHIRE

Her Majesty The Queen will attend the final day of the Badminton Horse Trials (8-12th May) to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the event.

The Queen, as Patron of British Equestrian, will watch the final show jumping phase of the competition before presenting trophies to prize winners in the arena.

On arrival at Badminton House, Her Majesty will be greeted by Jane Tuckwell, Event Director of Badminton, who will present the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort at the entrance to Badminton House before joining guests at a reception.

Her Majesty will meet guests associated with the trials, including representatives of the British Equestrian Federation, past winners of the competition and owners, as well as volunteers and officials involved in this year’s event.

A member of the Beaufort Pony Club will present Her Majesty with a book celebrating the trials’ 75-year history and an anniversary model horse.
