Royals to Feature in New Brief Encounters Exhibition

It’s not often you will see the likes of Queen Elizabeth II, Charles Prince of Wales, Zara Tindall, Kevin McCloud, Alex James, Raymond Blanc, Fiona Fullerton, James may, Jilly Cooper, (the list goes on), in one place at any one time.

You will soon.

The newly renovated Goods Shed in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, has secured a six week exhibition by the renowned Cotswold based photographer, Mark Fairhurst.

This is the first time his photographic portraits are to be on show. The body of work was created over a period of years and features some of the most recognised people on the planet. “Some, alas, are no longer with us” said Mark, who has had his images seen in various magazines around the world. “It can be quite daunting photographing someone you may have seen on the world’s stage. You are not always given much time to create an image that brings something out of your subject that is a little different from what has been done before”

Mark was once told that his photo session was the best therapy anyone could ask for. He is also a published artist having produced illustrations for Tour de France winner Chris Froome and Ferrari.

The exhibition opens on 1st April, and entry is free…
