THE KING AND QUEEN WILL HOST THEIR MILITARY AFFILIATIONS AT A RECEPTION AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE

Tuesday 11th February 2025

Their Majesties The King and Queen will hold separate receptions with representatives from their Military Affiliations to thank them for their service.

The King’s Military Affiliations

As both Prince of Wales and King, His Majesty has formed affiliations across all three services and a range of military disciplines.

The military affiliations the King will meet include:

• H.M.S. QUEEN ELIZABETH

• H.M.S. PRINCE OF WALES (which shares a relationship with both the King and Queen and will therefore join both receptions)

• Royal Corps of Marines

• The Parachute Regiment

• The Royal Gurkha Rifles

• The Royal Regiment of Scotland

• Corps of Royal Engineers

• The Royal Artillery

• The Honourable Artillery Company

• The Royal Tank Regiment

• The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards

• The Royal Welsh

• The Life Guards

• The Blues and Royals

• The Grenadier Guards (which shares a relationship with both the King and Queen and will therefore join both receptions)

• The King’s Company, 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards

• The Coldstream Guards

• The Scots Guards

• The Irish Guards

• The Welsh Guards

• The London Guards

• R.A.F. Regiment

• R.A.F. Marham

As both Duchess of Cornwall and Queen, Her Majesty has formed affiliations across all three services and a range of military disciplines.

The military affiliations the Queen will meet include:

• The Grenadier Guards (which shares a relationship with both Their Majesties and will therefore join both receptions)

• 4th Battalion The Ranger Regiment

• The Rifles

• The Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeths’ Own)

• The Royal Army Chaplains’ Department

• R.A.F. Halton

• R.A.F. Leeming

• Royal Navy Medical Services

• H.M.S. ASTUTE

• Navy Chaplaincy Service

• H.M.S. PRINCE OF WALES
