THEIR MAJESTIES THE KING AND QUEEN WILL VISIT MIDDLESBROUGH

Thursday 13th February 2025

Engagement 1:

The King and Queen will visit Middlesbrough’s International Centre to meet representatives of local community groups, voluntary services and police officers working to reduce knife crime in the town.

Engagement 2:

The King will visit SeAH Wind’s XXXL offshore turbine base factory, the world largest monopile manufacturing facility to date, to see the construction process and meet apprentices, during National Apprenticeship Week.

Engagement 3:

The Queen will join a celebration of the National Literacy Trust’s work in Middlesbrough attended by 750 schoolchildren, and led by children’s laureate, Frank Cottrell-Boyce, before joining a reception at Middlesbrough Town Hall.
