HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN ATTENDS ASCOT CHASE RACEDAY, ASCOT RACECOURSE
Saturday, 15th February 2025
Earlier today, Her Majesty The Queen attended the Ascot Chase Raceday at Ascot Racecourse.
In the parade ring, accompanied by Sir Francis Brooke, the Queen judged the ‘Best Turned Out Horse’ for the ‘Ebony Horse Club Reynoldstown Novices’ Chase’ race. Ebony Horse Club is a charity and community riding centre in Brixton, which enables local teenagers to experience the transformative benefits of horse riding.
Following the race, Her Majesty presented trophies to the winning connections. The Queen also met a group of young people benefitting from the Ebony Horse Club’s work. Her Majesty has had a long-standing relationship with Ebony Horse Club; as Duchess of Cornwall she became the club’s president in April 2009.
