HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN WILL ATTEND A CELEBRATION OF SHAKESPEARE EVENT AT GROSVENOR HOUSE HOTEL

Her Majesty The Queen will attend a ‘Celebration of Shakespeare’, meeting fans of the playwright’s work, including stars of stage and screen, authors, directors, and representatives of the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Her Majesty will be greeted by host Gyles Brandreth and will be introduced to guests with strong links to Shakespeare’s work, including Sir Simon Russell Beale, Sir David Suchet, Jeremy Irons, Julian Glover, Brian Cox, Freddie Fox, Gary Oldman and Robert Lindsay.
The Queen will also meet guests, including Dame Eileen Atkins, Baroness Floella Benjamin, Dame Judi Dench, Dame Penelope Keith, Dame Twiggy Lawson, Dame Joanna Lumley and Dame Virginia McKenna.
Following the conversation Her Majesty will join the guests for a group photograph.
The Queen will then enter the reception, meeting actors, authors, directors, and representatives of the National Theatre and The Royal Shakespeare Company.
At the end of the reception there will be performances by Gary Oldman, Robert Lindsay and Dame Judi Dench.
