THE KING AND QUEEN WILL VISIT THE SCOTTISH PARLIAMENT TO MARK ITS 25TH ANNIVERSARY

Saturday 28th September 2024

The King and Queen will attend a celebration marking the 25th anniversary of the Scottish Parliament. The King will address the Chamber before Their Majesties join a reception for local people nominated by MSPs for their extraordinary contribution to their communities.

The King, as Prince of Wales, attended the official opening of the Scottish Parliament with the late Queen and Duke of Edinburgh on 1st July 1999.
