THE PRINCE OF WALES WILL VISIT SUSTAINABLE VENTURES IN LONDON

Thursday 5th October 2023

The Prince of Wales will visit Sustainable Ventures, Europe’s largest climate tech hub, to hear more about the work they are doing to support small businesses scale up.

Sustainable Ventures is an environmental incubator empowering sustainable startups to scale through investment, workspaces and expert business support. The organisation believes in the power of commercial innovation to address climate change and resource scarcity, and since 2011 has supported the development of over 500 businesses. At their London headquarters, the organisation brings together businesses and climate innovators to collaborate and inspire.

During the visit, the Prince will tour the site and meet some of the businesses based inside, including ENSO, a 2023 Finalist of The Earthshot Prize in the “Clean Our Air” category. His Royal Highness will also join a discussion with a range of startups focused on their scaling up journey. This will include AirEx, who have created the world’s first smart air brick to reduce home’s energy bills, and Depop, a platform supporting the circular economy which allows users to buy and sell vintage and second-hand clothing.

Sustainable Ventures has supported over five hundred climate tech and sustainability companies, including one of the 2022 Earthshot Prize winners, Notpla, who the Prince visited at their east London headquarters in May.
