Description
Hello and welcome to another great edition of Royal Life, and as we write these words the Coronation of King Charles III is literally only weeks away. Are we getting excited yet? Well, what Royal fan could fail to be, despite the sad event that made it come to pass.
In this issue we will be bringing you right up to date with how the ceremony itself will proceed, and the many public celebrations that will be taking place around the country, and indeed the world.
One thing’s for sure, and that is this will be a very different Coronation to Queen Elizabeth II’s in 1953.
Also in this issue, we meet Royal Warrant Holder – Flying Colours Flagmakers, manufacturers of the highest quality sewn and printed flags. Plus readers have the opportunity to WIN a superb shadow box framed handmade 18″x12″ Union Flag fitted with the traditional headband, rope and toggle.
Readers also have the chance to WIN a copy of Gill Knappett’s sumptuous celebration of the life of His Majesty King Charles III, published to coincide with the festivities, traditions and pageantry of the new King’s Coronation.
So join us for all the latest Royal news, including the Prince and Princess of Wales attending the EE BAFTA Awards. Plus we dive into the history of Osborne House, built between 1845 and 1851 to provide Queen Victoria and Prince Albert with a private family home.
