The Prince of Wales will attend the EE BAFTA Film Awards ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday 18th February. The Prince, President of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) will watch the awards ceremony before meeting category winners and EE Rising Star Award nominees.

The EE BAFTA Film Awards are an annual celebration of the extraordinary skills, talent and craft of the film industry. For the first time, this year’s awards show will be hosted by David Tennant, with a total of 38 feature films being nominated.

BAFTA is a world-leading independent arts charity that brings the very best work in film, games and television to public attention and supports the growth of creative talent in the UK and internationally.

The charity hosts a number of awards ceremonies and a year-round programme of learning events and initiatives – including workshops, masterclasses, scholarships, lectures and mentoring schemes in the UK, USA and Asia.

The EE BAFTA Film Awards will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 7pm on Sunday 18th February.
