THE QUEEN WILL HOST A RECEPTION FOR THE BRITISH EQUESTRIAN FEDERATION

The Queen, Patron of the British Equestrian Federation (BEF), will host a reception to celebrate the success of the British Equestrian teams in the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Her Majesty will meet Paralympians along with members of the Olympic Team and their support staff.

During the reception, Her Majesty will meet equestrian athletes, including eventing team gold medallist Ros Canter and Paralympians, Natasha Baker OBE, Sophie Wells OBE, Georgia Wilson and Mari Durward-Akhurst, who brought home one silver and six bronze medals between them.

The event will also celebrate the ‘team behind the team’, comprising of Olympic travelling reserve athletes, grooms and owners, alongside support personnel from the British Equestrian World Class Programme, including performance managers, coaches, vets, and human and equine physiotherapists.
